HOW well do you really know your Facebook friends? A man in the US has done the unthinkable with photos of the nine-year-old daughter of one of his friends.
A 32-year-old Phoenix man allegedly downloaded 83 pictures of a nine-year-old girl from the account of one of his Facebook friends and posted them to a Russian child porn site, CBS 5 reports.
Among the stolen images were pictures of the child innocently blowing out her birthday candles and riding her bike.
The mother of the girl, Ashley Williams, said she had known Mr Madill since high school and he was one of her “closest friends”.
She told CBS 5 that her sense of betrayal and anger was beyond words.
“He had told everybody that he was her father and that he got to molest her every single day,” Ms Williams old CBS 5.
“And, he was using her pictures to trade with other fathers that are on this website that molest their children. He took the innocence and made it something disgusting.
“I just hope that he hasn’t acted on any of his desires, because all of our friends that we used to hang out with, they all have children … I want him to stay in jail.”
Mr Madill is behind bars in Phoenix after being charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
He is scheduled to appear in court on February 9.
