REPORTS out of the Philippines say Manny Pacquiao still has not started serious training for his July 2 superfight with Jeff Horn at Suncorp Stadium.
And Horn’s chances of springing a massive upset grow stronger every day the world welterweight champ takes it easy.
Pacquiao did no training for the fight while he was in Australia last week on a five-day promotional tour and according to the website digitaljournal.com, he is yet to start the hard work back home in Manila.
In a report on Wednesday the website said Pacquiao’s late training schedule showed he was not worried about the undefeated Aussie even though Pacquiao insisted he was not underestimating a young and hungry challenger.
The report said: ``Pacquiao has chosen to prioritize his work in the senate over his training for the scheduled title fight.

``Pacquiao was set to start his formal training for the Horn fight (on) Tuesday but opted to attend the opening session of the senate instead of starting his training at the Elorde Gym near the senate offices in Pasay City, Philippines.
``Longtime trainer Freddie Roach has set Pacquiao’s training schedule at eight weeks before the actual fight on July 2. Obviously the schedule will have to be changed in the wake of Pacquiao’s preoccupation with his senate duties
``Roach, who is set to stay six weeks in Manila to personally supervise Pacquiao’s training camp, has yet to announce his arrival date.’’
Los Angeles-based Roach was at Wembley Stadium on Sunday where another of his fighters, British featherweight Scott Quigg, outpointed tough Romanian Viorel Simion.

Assistant trainer Buboy Fernandez is also yet to join Pacquiao in Manila for the scheduled training.
Roach told The Courier-Mail that Pacquiao was looking to knock out Horn for his first victory inside the distance since he stopped Miguel Cotto in 2009.
Horn said he hoped Pacquiao was taking him lightly because he had a surprise in store for the world champion in the biggest fight in Australian history.
Pacquiao is a $1.22 favourite with UBET to retain his WBO welterweight title against Horn despite having lost three of his last eight fights.
Horn is $4.15.
